The Apartment above the shopfront at Ours on Johnston Street, in the heart of Fitzroy, renovated and restyled as a home for the city’s creative spirit.
The work in the space includes a custom dining table, designed with the help of Billy Furniture, to fit around an awkward space in the dining area. A salvaged concrete shower base used as a sink on the kitchen island. A Salvaged church window fitted as a shower screen, backlit by Tolliday Electrical. Granite and resin shelving in the bedroom, and exposed concrete wall, stripped back and sealed to reveal layers of old paint. And the entryway/staircase area painted with a green and white pattern, all the way up to the first floor hallway.
